We introduce a novel framework that predicts long-term mental healthcare workforce needs using real NHS data. This framework captures the dynamics of both patient needs and nurse availability, enabling effective long-term planning. It also tests policies and identifies strategies to address future staff shortages, providing valuable insights for decision-makers to develop resilient mental healthcare workforce policies.
